Abigail Cohen

Chief of Staff, Office of the CEO

Abigail Cohen is Chief of Staff to the CEO at Zinc Collective, where she orchestrates the office’s priorities, builds and manages key relationships, and ensures seamless execution across the fast-moving organization.

Her political career began in the Biden-Harris Administration, where she first served in the Vice President’s Communications Office, working across the Speechwriting, Digital, and Press teams. She later joined the President’s Office of Political Strategy & Outreach for the administration’s final two years. As Special Assistant to the Director and Senior Advisor to the President, she worked at the intersection of political engagement and coalition-building. After the administration concluded, Abby joined a bipartisan public affairs firm, supporting its founder and CEO in day-to-day operations.

Earlier in her career, Abigail focused on criminal justice reform — conducting investigative work for the DC Public Defender Service under DC’s Incarceration Reduction Amendment Act and tutoring incarcerated men toward their GED at the DC Jail. She graduated summa cum laude from The George Washington University with degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science and still calls DC home.
